The Pioneer Museum is a combination museum and historical site on 3.5 acres, showcasing the region’s German roots through 19th-century artifact exhibits & tours. The Vereins Kirche which is located in the middle of the town square, which we call Marktplatz is a replica of the first public building constructed by the pioneers in Fredericksburg. The Pioneer Museum and the Vereins Kirche are the two sites which are dedicated to preserve and tell the heroic story of the pioneers of Fredericksburg.
